Super Bowl Halftime Show 2017

Super Bowl Halftime Shows are the traditional entertainment during the NFL. Halftime show the most watched event on the television in the recent times. This time Super Bowl Halftime Show of LI sponsored by Pepsico took part on the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas on February 5, 2017.

On August 2016 the news came out that the NFL team has approached to Singer “Adele” for the halftime Show. But during the live concert of Adele 2016 she said I’m not doing the Super Bowl because the show is not about music”.

Later Billboard reported that NFL was in talk with the singer “Lady Gaga” for her performance in the Super Bowl LI. And on September 29, 2016 Lady Gaga confirmed that she would be performing the halftime show on her Instagram account.

During the halftime show on the NRG Stadium all the production works with 5, 000 LED lights embedded into the stage and special effects strictly FX all were power packed for the performance.

NRG Stadium on the top accompanied by fleet of 300 synchronized LED-equipped quadcopter drones were provided by intel, used to form the American flag image behind the singer Lady Gaga.

Lady Gaga sang “God Bless America”, Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land”, Pledge of Allegiance:”One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all” and “Poker Face” with fireworks and then she joined her dancers and sang “Born This Way”. Thenafter Gaga moved to the corner of the stage singing “Telephone” in the solo version. Then she carried a keytar singing “Just Dance”.

As the song completed she asked for the audience to use flashlight on their phones and sang “Million Reasons” with the audience holding their lights its a “Go!Flashlights” kind of moment.

Then for the finale she was wearing costume inspired by football and performed the dance and with the crackers and Gaga jumped off the stage watched the football and ended the halftime Show.

Halftime Show of 2017 was seen by 117.5 million viewers, which was the second most watched Super Bowl Halftime Show and Halftime Show of 2015 still remains in the first place.
