Super Bowl Halftime Show 2016

The tradition of the Super Bowl that is Halftime Show 2016 took part at Levi’s Stadium, Santa Clara, California on February 7, 2016. Halftime Show was headlined by Coldplay, the British rock group. Beyonce and Bruno Mars appeared on the stage for the special guest performance.

It was confirmed on December 3, 2015 that Coldplay will be headlining the Halftime Show of 2016 in the Super Bowl 50 and it was also confirmed for the special performance will be made by Mars and Beyonce.

Halftime show started with Chris Martin singing”Yellow”. Then Coldplay performed “Viva la Vida”, “Paradise” and “Adventure of a Lifetime” with Gustavo Dudamel and University of California Marching Band.

“Uptown Funk” was performed by Bruno Mars, Mark Ronson. Before the “Uptown Funk” Beyonce dressed like inspiring Micheal Jackson performed “Formation” and then joined the stage for “Uptown Funk”.

Coldplay performed a snippet of “Clocks” and concluded with “Fix You” and “Up&Up” with the guest performers. And the closing lyrics was “A Head Full of Dreams” with the audience performing the card stunt with the phrase “Believe in love”.

Halftime Show of 2016 was watched by 115. 5 million viewers and it was the fourth highest watched show in the United States and the show received mixed reviews from the critics.
